My studio is pretty busy at the moment full of a new series of paintings inspired by my artistresidency in June at the Secret Campsite near Lewes in West Sussex.
The campsite is wild and beautiful with an abundance of insects and beautiful wild flowers and plants. Tim and Lisa allowed me to roam and set up anywhere I liked with my paints and brushes! I I spent four days there painting using watercolours and pen and ink in 'plein air'.
Then I returned to the studio to begin some oil on canvas paintings inspired by my time there. These are taking shape and are a little change in direction for me which is exciting..
