Delighted to be exhibiting in VOL.14 of Auto Amor in Sevenoaks

My painting 'Forest Heat' mixed media on board is included in this guest-curated exhibition 'Terrain' running from 9 October - 3 November.

'Forest Heat' mixed media on board, by Clara Wilkinson, available to buy through Auto Amor and Artsy

It's a lovely opportunity to show the work alonside so many other artists. The exhibition is called 'Terrain.'

My piece is a mixed media on board (30cm x 20cm) that I painted en plein air in the woodland above my studio on the South Downs.

Using watercolour, gouache and pencil, I was responding to the heat of the summer - warm light glowing through the canopy and the textures of soil, grass and rocks beneath.
