Painting in my new South Downs studio: A new beginning immersed in nature

I'm so happy to have moved into a lovely new studio in the South Downs outside Brighton. The light is wonderful and I have a lot of space to paint and rotate big canvases around the room. Once the weather improves I'm looking forward to taking canvas and paint up onto the Downs to paint directly from nature. In the meantime I'm making pencil and watercolour sketches on paper and bringing these back to the studio. Here are few of my new canvases in progress.

The beauty of nature is all around me and I couldn't be more inspired.
