My floral inspired abstract framed in a collectors' home

It was lovely to pop over to a collectors's home by the nearby Hove seafront to photograph two of my works on paper that are now beautifully framed.

This piece was bought after the collectors visited me for a private view of my work following my Artists Open House in December. This is the second of my paintings now on their wall.

This piece 'Sometimes its just a feeling' is a large work on Arches heavy weight paper made using mixed media (watercolour, gouache, Indian ink and oil paint.)

This is a floral inspired abstract in pinks, yellows and whites. I painted some of it on the floor of my studio and then pinned it to the wall to continue. Working this way allows me to see the painting differently and requires a varied painting technique. The movement and freedom of the brush marks came about quite spontaneously as the painting revealed itself.
