My summer exhibition in St. Ann's Well Gardens in Hove Summer 2025

Clara Wilkinson's summer exhibition at the Garden Cafe, Brighton and Hove, August and September 2025

I'm looking forward to exhibiting a range of paintings and framed works on paper at the Garden Cafe in St. Ann's Well Gardens, Hove throughout August and September 2025.

I'm honoured that my show will follow the beautiful exhibition of watercolours by John Hayward - filling the main wall of the cafe opposite the windows.

For the exhibition I've selected a range of oil on canvas paintings and smaller watercolours and prints inspired by the South Downs and St. Ann's Well Gardens - to bring the 'outside inside.'

The park plays a special part in my life and that of my three sons. Their former primary school is over the road and my youngest now plays tennis regularly on the Garden's courts. I regularly sit under the trees on a bench sketching... and of course the Garden Cafe is fabulous for coffee and cake!
